Why would I waste at least $10K extra just to get a stinky diesel that would cost about the same to run as a straight LPG engine? Oh, and I might be eligible for a rebate on the excise on the LPG used in the mobile business office when the excise is introduced... I've seen it happen. Which is precisely why Noddy et al should be DISCOURAGING LPG use. The less people who use it, the better for those who do, because they are more likely to slip under govco's radar. You can't beat govco, but you can sometimes escape their notice. You're right, but it wouldn't really matter if I walked around with a flashing light on my head and a sandwich board with "Use LPG and you';; discover true savings" written on it.
