Bmw Sat Nav Help????? No Screen

I have my 1995 730il and the screen has stopped working.Any help befor
i go to BMW??? I want it fixed but dont want to pay through m
a???.Cheer

I seem to remember factory GPS units in BMW's had a screen off
function, but they would come on again as soon as you tried to adjust
something; I'm assuming this isn't happening. But a 1995 model is
hardy cutting edge so if you don't want to pay through your triplet of
question-marks just see an auto electrician first.

Is this still an early enough 7 to have computer and some other functions
at the mercy of some batteries - AA? - under the dash? Cheers

Harldy Normal or Retra Vision and get a Navman, half the price of getting a
BMW dealer to get out of his chair, let alone look at your existing one, and
probably twice as good.
