you might want to put in 3 more, one to drive each wheel
then you might have enough power to drive it out from under your bridge :-)

Actually it's possible, would fit in the rear cargo area for
transport, but I'd use a trailer instead.

I really don't think that would work well.

Oh, I don't know...
What other engine is designed to produce as little low end torque than
the rotary? It's obviously fits the ideal criteria for a 4WD :p
GrassyNoel - 21 Feb 2008 04:35 GMT

A gas turbine comes to mind, IIRC torque is proportional to engine rpm
in those things.

Well yes, but I was trying to stick to nothing too exotic :)

I don't know about other folk, however my 4x4 has a lot of low end
torque. Hmmm, could gear the rotary down stacks I guess, then it would
be revving it's arse off and drinking fuel like it's going out of
fashion.

No, not suited to an L/C :-) it would be a f.cking nightmare to
attempt
to drive offroad.

Thats what I mean - it's obviously the very antithesis of what makes a
good 4WD engine... which is why I said this is a troll :)

No, and I couldn't think of a single logical reason why anyone would *want*
to unless going slow while using fuel like a German tank is what they were
trying to achieve.

More so than a standard Cruiser I mean :)

Didn't Mazda import the HX~HZ Holden into Japan as a rolling shell and fit
20b engines to them?

I seem to recall that the result was slower than an asthmatic 173 with
full pollution gear and used more fuel than a healthy 350.

but not a 20b, was a 13b

13b I think, and it was called a Mazda Roadpacer if I recall.

I've never driven one, let alone seen one in the flesh, but I would think
that would sum them up nicely. The project was hugely unsuccessful, and I
can't imagine anyone at Mazda ever thinking it'd work to the point where
people would be happy with it :)

There's a Chow Yun Fat movie (city on fire) where one is used in a
getaway. It's funny seeing a 'holden' in a hong kong film at all, but
when they take off 'brap blat brap' - kinda funny. I'm not sure if they
dubbed a 4cyl engine sound over it or not - it was a long time ago that
I saw the film.

so basically you now admit to paying for sex, and worse yet,
necrophilia?

god help you david if your parents die and you are forced to fend for
yourself. You'll get by for a few years, then end up broke and with zero
charisma or skill, completely f.cked (for the first time without the
transaction)

We're still waiting for you to front up to Noddy's to take on the bet
tough guy. Oh that's right, you wet your panties at the thought of that,
and chickened out making childish excuses.

You need to brush up on your reading skills.  I did nothing except admit to
having sex with your mother.  You also assumed (incorrectly) that I was
referring to the act in the present tense rather than past tense.

I'm still undecided.

Wrong.  I've been alive longer than that.
John McKenzie - 23 Feb 2008 08:42 GMT
> Wrong.  I've been alive longer than that.

Oh, yes, you had sex at 6 - moron. And for the record, you've _never_
been alive, you've (at absolute optimistic best) existed, much like a
loaf of bread. No spirit, no courage, no honour, no integrity, no
daring, nope just a cowering baby afraid of the dark.

the fact that you continued with it shows what an immature little snot
you are. You got bested (as usual) so you tried to split hairs. This
isn't a courtroom, and you aren't perry mason, loopholes are bullshit,
and the desperate tactic of the child out of his depth.

I'll go further, it's obvious that the attempt to claim you'd been with
another woman, specifically my mother, stems from two things. One, it's
transferrance of your own oedipal issues - after all your own mother is
the only girl who thinks you are anything other than a fuckwit. Second,
it's because of your repressed homosexual desire for me to take you as
my submissive lover. It's clearly your fantasy, and you can't help
yourself.

And even worse still, this all came about because of your glory hole
joke, the real subtext of which is the fact that you realise and concede
that I can get laid, and you can't, so you have to rationalise it and
try and disguise your self loathing as some sort of moral stance. Too
bad for you you don't have the talent to pull such subterfuge off.

One day you'll venture out into the real world, and it'll be a rude
awakening. Good for you internet tough guy.

So when are you going to be be at Noddy's place to pay up on the bet? Oh
that's right, you chickened out. You're probably afraid to cross the
road without mummy holding your hand.

Hopeless child

Maybe not capable of actual sex, but sexual *acts* certainly.  Anyway she
seemed pretty keen on doing young children - apparantly she told me she once
did it before with a "certain" someone else.  Your father, unfortunately for
her, was unavailable at the time as he was busy doing you up the a.s.

Should fit in the back ok if you fold down the back seat but it will a
bit heavy to lift in, it would be easier to carry it on a trailer.

No, but there's always someone silly enough to try something stupid like
that I suppose. you've obviously never tried towing with a rotary
before..............
I've witnesses someone who thought it was a goos idea to drop a 13b in a
Sierra, was great if your idea of a cruise up the beach at high tide is
listening to an engine reving to buggery for an hour non stop slogging
through soft sand in 1st gear when the factory Sierras are chugging past you
in 2nd & 3rd gear.

Don't listen to any of it.  I reckon putting a rotary engine in a
'cruiser's a great idea.  Post some pics once you've finished the

well it's have to be a f.cking clean engine with no oil leaks or grunge
left on it anywhere before I'd put it in my cruiser

oh and fairly light too as I have my cruiser lifted 4 inches and on
33inch tyres so the tailgate is pretty high

I have a box trailer for that kind of thing
