Why?  The Commodore computer is far more well known than the car.

No f.cking way does it cost $30 to send that through parcel post

The seller reserves the right to make a markup from postage and handling.

well on anything other than Ebay, their code for selling is that the
seller makes no profit from shipping/handling(because Ebay would lose a
few cents commission

nahh probably not since I rally have no use for a door stop

Geez I remember having a Commodore 5 in the 80s. Sped it up to 8Mhz. Had to
boot at 4.77 though, flick the switch and a real "speed demon".

Never bought any chinese computer gear have you. $2 item $30 postage.
It has been a common rort on EBay since it started. They only charge
commision on the slae price not the postage.

You could charge $1 for a cd then charge $100 if you like.
I did once read somewhere of a person fighting it and getting a refund
between the paid postage and of what was on the parcel but I guess then
you could argue Postage and Handling time.

Isn't the $1 sales price and $100 postage fee so that the seller raughts the
system so they wouldn't have to pay the higher final % of the final sales
price to ebay as the sales fee?

Yep. A lot of stuff sold on ebay sounds really good until you add in the
"postage" charge, then it just becomes expensive crap.
