Point to point speed cameras - remind me please!

It was recently discussed here the email supposedly from "Tammy
Umasaran, Ministry of Transport" regarding point-to-point speed
cameras on the M5 & M7 (NSW); was it a hoax? I can't find any further
info other than forum banter discussing the exact same email, but no-
one else seems to be questioning the validity of it. My boss has just
printed it off and made all in our office read it, like it's now set
in stone.

its a hoax, ring the Ministry of Transport and ask for Tammy or better yet,
try and find the relevant document here

When you put Tammy's name into Google all you get is a bunch of newsgroup
and forum posts, not a single listing for any actual Govt Department papers
or listing on Govt web sites.

It sounds like you boss could help me sneak several million dollars out of
some secret bank accounts in Nigeria, do you think he might help ??

Wasn't too bad an effort, IIRC - but blew itself out of the water by
going a tad to far and missing too many of the usual GovCo bullshit
platitudes.
