Ford modular engine......

600-800 hp from a Ford modular anyone?

If it's half as good as the buyer claims, $13k is a *very* good price.
Hmmmm. I wonder if that would fit in the XB...........

No uglier than the clevo lump of cast iron in there at the moment.... :-)

One of the blokes in Ford forums has done this , landed the motor for
under 10k and the performance is very big block...into an earlier x series

Was that price with the blower, or a NA engine. I don't think it would come
with the motec.

Just had a look on FF and it appears that the same guys who are selling the
mustang bodies squeezed a 260 Boss motor into an XY. Well, they didn't
actually 'squeeze' it - They cut bit chunks out of the front shocker towers
to fit the thing in. I was worried about the length of a V10 and hadn't
really considered the width............

I would think you'd probably want to arsehole the towers completely and fit
a different front end. That's what I'm doing with the XP, and that's just to
fit a 351 Windsor.
