Supplier: Holden Ltd

Category: Motor Vehicles

Product Info: Holden Incorrect compliance plate - VY One Tonner & Crewman
models built between 5 May 2003 and 9 October 2003 inclusive.

Defect details: Compliance plates displaying incorrect model designation and
possibly approval number have been fitted to some vehicles.

Consumer action: Contact your authorised Holden Dealer.

Make: VY One Tonner & Crewman

Model Years From: May 2003 to October 2003

Consequences: It is the requirement under the Australian Motor vehicle
Standards Act (1989) C'th requirement that the compliance plate information
of a vehicle is correct.

My god, get these things off the road before they kill someone. Who knows
what damage an incorrect model designation could cause.
I think you spend more time studying Holdens than Holden fans do. A secret

And this is a safety breach how? Just 'cause it says it on the compliance
doesn't mean people will take notice. It's a minor recall, unlike alot of
recalls that are safety related. BFD.

I had a compliance plate fail at high speed once.  It's no laughing matter.
