I didn't say that the 911 is "one of the nicest looking cars money can buy"
because I'd like it to look like an Adventra, it should look like a 911.
If they wanted to build a sh.t looking car, maybe they should have based
it on the Magna :p

I always wondered what a "shooting brake" was (since reading about them in
English "boy's own" stories).
Has anyone got any idea why "shooting brake"?

You break the bank buying it and when it arrives you shoot yourself over the
mistake you made.

it goes like this
"what I know as a woodie ( no not that it's a car) , but the UK
equivalent "
Often an Aston or Roller or even a few Austin princesses where
shooting brakes.Primarily tend to be a luxury machine , or its something
like a hide but upperclass ?

A shooting brake is an alternative name for station wagon. The name and
concept started by Rolls-Royce in 1905. Another name for it was just
"Brake".

'twas originally a horse drawn carriage used for hunting, the original
'station' wagon.
