Hey all.
Taking the pulsar back onto the track in the next month or so and was looking for any
constructive information about some better performance brake pads that are more
suited for track work and aren't going to eat my rotors for breakfast.
Last time i was on the track i had a set of EBC Redstuff pads in, they worked rather
well, no problems with brake fade, but after the 50 odd laps of wakefield park they
were toast, only about 5 laps left on them. Since doing a little more hunting around
i have found that is pretty normal for those brake pads, so i'd like to get something
that lasts a bit longer. I don't need them for street use, as i'm happy to swap pads
for the track but obviously a full race pad is generally going to be rather abrasive
on rotos.
Cost is also a factor obviously, but if they cost 2x as much and last 3x as long, i
don't mind paying the extra initial cost.
Constructive thoughts?
