Can anyone please point me a site with information on making my own Vag
interface for my 1993 S4?

I have some info but would like to cross reference my data....

I've been interested in this too, although I don't know whether my 98.5 A4
will use the same interface or not. I have the schematics and such, but
haven't tackled it yet. It's a good way to learn about the CAN bus system.

I have now put the circuit together....all i need to do is test it to
confirm that it will not blow the serial port on my laptop when i plug
it in!....

Then, when i get my car back next weekend i will try it out! It has been

more than 8 months since i drove it last...I can't wait any longer until
i get back in that seat! Can you believe 5 weeks of pure joy when i
first got it last summer....and then 8 long months of withdrawl
syndrome, legal and mecanical hell!

Like i said can't wait, it will be like a new car again...and Oh yeah! i
will get around to testing my new interface too!
