hi can anyone tell me how a turbo works i have a6 tdi and at around 2000rpm in each gear there seems to be a slight jump when accelerating and i was wondering if its the turbo kicking in and not something serious. thanxs for any replies stef Stef, here you gom - http://auto.howstuffworks.com/turbo.htm Turbos inherently have some lag time while they spin up, so what you are feeling is the boost from the turbo once it spools up - in other words, completely normal.
