Hi I'm new to this please excuse my inexperience. Help pleaseep...... i'm in
great need of a solution before this pretty  automatic 97 A4    1.8T Non
Quatro gives up on us. Somehow can't seem to change gears smoothly without
being slow. Tried visiting the tranny shop, changed spark plugs and ignition
coil all in vain even after costing this much. Please if you know of a
solution to this i'd really appreciate it. I enjoy riding this car and don't
want to loose it  I'm in Seattle WA.

yet another shop who change parts that make absolutely no difference and
still charge the customer................bloody good business their in.

please explain "without being slow". Do you mean it drops in revs during the
gear change or the gear change takes a long time.

** apparently the no 3 cylinder is not giving sparks. The spark plugs were
changed and also replaced the ignition coil 2. Yes its unbelievable but the
gears are changing at 4-5 rpm it sounds horible. Any clue?
