I am having trouble with my top. Here's what happens, I have to release the
latch on the front manually. Lift the retract button and the top begins to
fold. It reaches a point where these cylinders are fully retracted so this
portion of the retract is complete. Then the compartment lid pops open only
a couple inches. I can hear the hydraulic pump attempting to work something
but then it stops. Sounds like the logic is telling something to work but it
won't so it quits. I have gotten it to open by wiggling the pump assembly
while someone else operates the retract button but I have to stop because
the trunk lid is open and the compartment lid hits it. It will always close
properly from this point.
I have checked the compartment lid cylinder by moving the solenoid wires
from the fold signal and the compartment lid opens perfectly. The folded
sensor appears to be working properly, I have 11VDC when not folded and OVDC
when fully folded. The compartment latch sensors seem to be good but there
are 3 sensors, I know 1 is for locked closed, 1 for open but I am not sure
what the 3rd one is for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does the errant behavior occur whether the engine is running or not?
