Newer models list what they record in the owner's manual. The dealership can tell you for older models. I think mine said that it records a couple of seconds. Doesn't the computer that stores info to generate the average miles per gallon and average speed have to store a series of speedometer readings? Anyone know what the algorithm is or how many data points it keeps? -al sung |
