2003 Audi AllRoad - hard brakes

2003 Audi AllRoad - occassionally, more likely in the morning when the
engine is cold, the brakes are hard, as if there are no power brakes.
Goes away in a few seconds. Engine does not seem to be dieing or low rev.

Any hints ? Dealer seem clueless, since it is intermitent and wont do
it for him ?

I wonder if that model uses a "bomb" - and it or the hose to it are leaking...
