The title says it all. When is the new M3 supposed to be out? I'm talking
about the Bangle/uglified model. I see either 2007 or 2008. Which one is it?
Is this supposed to be the E90?

I currently own a 2002 325i sedan (gonna be a big step up to an M3 LOL) and
think this body style is THE best looking sedan on the road (pretty much
ever, and still is IMO). The current M3 body style is the most beautiful
coupe on road (pretty much ever, and still is) [excluding of course the
totally out of my price range Aston Martin DB9, ferraris, lambo's, etc].

I'm not too crazy about the new 3 series sedan body style at all (the
bangle/uglified one that just came out). The new 3 series coupe is a big
improvement, but still very questionable. It doesn't even come close to the
current M3.

Anyways, just wondering how much longer I have to get the current body style
on the M3.

If it is indeed a 2007 model, doesn't that mean its going to be out by the
end of the year? Anyone have an estimated month/year when its going to start
being difficult to get the current body style?

Thanks!

From what I have heard, BMW will announce the M3 for the press around
january / february.  But that's a big rumour :)

On a sidenote, the E92 looks more sportier (and smaller) irl then when seen
on the pictures, I like it over the old (standard-not-M3) coupé.

Cheers,
Frank

Hmm... a google search for E92 M3 seems to say that this is a 2007/2008
model. So wouldn't that mean it'll actually hit show rooms at the END of
2007? BMW announces a car 1 yr ahead of time?

If indeed its showing up towards the end of 2007, when do they stop taking
orders (in north america) for the previous year?

So the current M3 you can buy today, thats the "2006-2007" model? So there
are not going to be any more versions with the current body style? I mean,
normally cars come out towards the end of the year right? So is there
another new M3 coming out in the next few months THIS year??

Hmmm... more research seems to indicate the new M3 is coming out in March of
07 at the latest. Guess I'm screwed as I doubt I'll be able to get it by
then :(. I'm still trying to figure out why the rear tires look so small on
the new coupes and the new M3 spy shots. Every single pic looks the same --
the rear tire looks much smaller then the front.

I also have been patiently waiting. I may end up with the 335 coupe due
out this month. Only because I don't feel like waiting another 12 - 18
months.
