rpm.....BMW 318i E36 M43 1994

I have a little problem.

If i change gear, the RPM drops to late and to slow.
(about  max 1 second)
The problem is not stable. (sometimes, somtimes not.)
What can it be ?  The acceleratocable ?

The motor runs verry nice.

In the garage, workshop one airvalve have been cleaned, no soloution for this
problem.

Who knows about this problem ?
Sugestions ?

Please help me.

Thanks.

Move the carpet in the footwell so that it isn't interfering with the
accelerator ("gas") pedal?
