Hi There,

I've got a '93 e36 3251 automatic BMW. The car water temperature gauge
needle does not want to raise to its normal working temperature, even
after 20kms, until when the car comes to stop-and-go traffic, or while
during frequent braking, then the needle goes up.

Is that normal?? Any idea how to rectify these? Where could be the
problem areas? Can a DIY fix it?

Any ideas are welcomed. Many Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Joe.

Sounds like a simple thermostat change will fix it.
