'01 X5, 3.0L auto. On startup there is a loud, high pitched whining/whistling sound coming from the front of the engine. After warm up the sound generally disappears. Fan belts are new, ~4 months old. Could it be the water pump? clutch fan? power steering pump? All fluids are topped off. > '01 X5, 3.0L auto.
