i have a 91 525i heater blower motor only works on high speed. i have
replaced the motor because it was bad but still only high speed. have a
new resister to replace but do not know where it is located on the car.
thanks for any help.
It's located under the blower motor. Here's a picture from RealOEM although
it doesn't really show it very well.

I will take your word for it Jack, but is this the same for vehicles with
air con?
I seem to remember the long resistor pack sliding through a panel on the
side of the heater box inside the footwell on vehicles with air
con/microfilters. Although, maybe that was on E32?

thanks for your help. found the resister but to get it out you
have to remove the panel beside the gas pedal. The reason i replsced
the blower motor is because the bearings in the motor were bad. thanks
again for all your help.

On some cars the high blower circuit is separate from the lower speeds.
Sometimes they have separate relays, or sometimes only the high circuit
has a relay.
