Hi all
I have a 525i touring a 96 UK spec

yesterday i got the message saying rear lt brakes problem, check manual,
anyway when i got to where i was going, i checked the brake lights, no
problems...

almost home today, same message....the lights are fine, both work and not
dim.

could this be a early warning of a upcoming problem anywhere?

Check your break light switch. It is about he easiest repair you can
make and very low cost.
