I don't know if News Rover has the ability to do this but Agent 4 allows one to
search via a keyword through the newsgroups names downloaded from the NNTP
server.

Clara's server and Forté's server carry over 66,000 active groups.

Depending what the subject is you can search for it like "pictures" will give
you something like 200+ results from Apples to Zebras including all the sex and
porn groups too.

What is the subject?

The subject is "I'm spamming my website by asking a non question and putting
an advert in my sig."

Obviously that subject is "How can I spam a newsgroup with a silly
mortgage web address in my signature and still get other people to reply
and duplicate my spam, because I really don't have a question at all?"

Nice one Oscar...

There isn't a newsgroup that is general. More importantly, there isn't a
newsgroup that appreciates spam.
