hi all
is the voice input system a part of the bluetooth mechanism.
i have an e60 2004 525 with the correct steering wheel but it doesnt
seem to do anything when the button is pushed... any help is
appreciated

sounds like the kugelfisher pump is out of timing. Check the throttle
linkage is in spec, and check the pump belt. When it slips a few notches
the car no longer listens to you !

Might not be fitted to your car. It is an option on some - in fact if you look
at the spec of the E65 the voice button (top left on wheel) is often a blank.
Perhaps you have the wrong wheel fitted or nobody noticed at the factory.
If you paid for voice control the go back to the dealer and moan.
