Would somebody be so kind to list the differences between the 840Ci
and 840Ci Sport?

Did the Sport replace the 840Ci or were they sold side-by-side?

If they were sold side by side, were there standard items on the sport
that you could option on the 'normal' 840Ci?

Was the Sport sold in the US?

Many thanks!

Could just be badge engineering or renaming, but on other models the main
differences tended to be

1. Lower, firmer "sport" suspension, with no self levelling.  Possible lower
profile tyres and lower overall ride height.

2. Close ratio manual gearbox, sometimes with an extra cog (e.g. 6 instead
of 5 gears)

3. One models before ASC / DSC, limited slip differential.

4. Sport decals on boot.
