hello , does anyone know how i might find the castrol oil decal that is located under the hood , dead center front , on the air induction of a 2001 M3 ? in a nutshell it says : " use only castrol 10-60 motor oil " . This is probably supplied on the production line by Castrol so can I suggest you actually talk to Castrol. Failing that if its a conours car you want the have a peek at a wrecking yard they must have one stuck on a hood somewhere. BTW I do NOT have one on my NEW E65 730d SE. The E46 M3 engine probably won't survive on any other oil but the BMW 10-60.
