no - gas reading,
no - speed reading,
no - trip miles reset,
no - check control reading,
no - fuel consumption reading,
and I realize the window, sunroof and windshield wipers only work
after about ten minutes of the car running.
If I turn on the wipers they are delayed for about 3 to 5 minutes
before they would start working.  The wipers dont return to the home
position when shut off but stays in the middle of the windshield
instead.  I have the bentley repair manual and did as much reading as
possible on the topics but still is at a loss...  My thought is the
check control module because of the lack of reading when I press the
signal handle tip or try to press the reset button on the cluster.

CAN I GET SOME INPUT ON THIS MAJOR HEADACHE!

Have you checked all the fuses yet?

I think you have several unrelated problems here, but all the instrument
cluster problems are related and may have to do with the cluster not getting
power.

The Haynes manual is not useful because the electrical diagrams in it are
rough at best.  Get the real electrical service manual which lists everything.

I don't recall if the E39 has any hidden fusible links, but the manual will
show them if they exist.
