All,

My recent attempt to change my spark plugs fell at the first hurdle when I
couldn't fathom how to remove the engine 'beauty' cover ...

It appears to be held on with four black nylon fixings with virtually
featureless heads ?  There are two tiny slits on them for some special tool
I imagine, but do they unscrew, 1/4 turn, 'pop' out, etc ??

Any help on this, or any other likely obstacles on the way to changing my
plugs would be much appreciated.

tia

They just pop off to expose the nuts if they're anything like those on the
straight 6's.
Mike.
