I have a BMW 635.  It was hit from behind and the
trunk won't open with the key... the trunk looks a
little bit out of alignment.

The guy at the body shop crawled into the trunk but
couldn't find anything that looked like a manual trunk
release.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance

The push button to open the trunk on my 635 is also jammed in and I can't
get it out, if you find a way to get into the trunk without the key, please
let me know.    Thanks

They get quite dirty inside, I have to clean them on my E30 and 635
every year. Easy enough to strip down. When it sticks I put my key in,
turn is a few degrees then pull back.
