Hi
I think the phone (crap) was a Motorola but it is an OEM car phone and not a portable cell
phone. I think you will find it difficult to get one new and the one I removed from mine
was snapped up on Ebay within 3 hours.
Honestly --- the best thing you can do is to get a NOKIA 6310i (or another decent business
phone) and use the NOKIA car kit and a special carrier (I can send pic of mine) and then
contact "www.conntects2.co.uk" (or might be .com) to get their integrated unit adaptor
that allows you to use the original BMW steering wheel controls and speakers as per the
original OEM fitting.
BTW the original phone was analogue and only operated on O2.
A new consul armrest is needed to make it look nice and the part number you quoted is for
the plastic moulding.
