Can anyone help with advice here. Just today I've noticed my front left
wheel is whining/groaning/moaning when turning right. I can hear it on a
smooth road at 25mph+ fairly distinctively, but in a straight line it's much
quieter and even more so if turning left.

I'm meant to be setting off on a 10hr round trip to Gatwick this evening, am
I risking it if I do?

Car is an E30 325i (sport) 1988 F-plate, 131k, recent MOT (end dec) and I've
been driving fairly regularly since January. Not really heard this noise
before, but fitted a stereo a few days back so it could be a few days old
now.

Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like it might be the wheel bearing.
