Just recently bought a BMW 318i SE (registered June 98 so one of the last
E36s produced, and a very late 'R' registration).
It is in Avus Blue colour and the bodywork is 100% - there isn't so much as
a scratch on the bodywork and it looks literally brand new. It has 76,000
miles on the clock, it is fully serviced (in fact it has 11 services so far,
including the inspection I and II's).
It has the M-tec steering wheel, gear knob, rear diffuser, front spoiler and
I am getting the rear boot spoiler fitted on Wednesday. It also has the
m-tec lights on both the front and the back, and the clear indicator covers
on the sides. It also has the m-tec door sills.
The car has 2 previous owners and cost ?7,000.
Would this seem a reasonable price to have paid for the car? Being the SE it
also has the 1/2 leather interior, rear headrests and the usual se
refinements.
Thanks for any advice / opinions :-)

Oh, also... one last query... the insurance document says the car is a 1.9
litre, but the v5 says its a 1.8... any ideas anyone? Thanks :-)
Also, is the car 16v or not? And how many cylinders does the engine have?
Thanks!
