I have a 1997 US BMW M3 coupe which will need four new tires soon.
I've only used the Bridgestone S-02 or S-03 tires on it in the past.
From the recent Tire Rack review, it looks like the Michelin Pilot
Sport PS2 would be a better choice than another set of S-03s.
Does anyone have any experience with both the PS2 and the S-03? I'd
love to hear some comments comparing these tires before I buy a set.
The PS2s look better on paper, since they have better test results and
cost less. But I'd like to hear someone's first hand results if
possible. In particular I'm interested in wet traction, since I'm
really pleased with the Bridgestones when it rains. I live in DFW, so
snow is not a worry.
Thank you!

I have a 99 M3 convertible. I was tired of overpriced Michelin Pilot Sports
that wore out at 13000 miles. I bought Toyo T1-S Precis tires. The
handling was better, bumps
seemed less harsh, handling seemed a little better particularly in the rain.
They also cost about $75 less per tire. They did need to be ordered which
took 3 weeks for all 4 to arrive. 15000 miles later the Toyo's are still
good.

I have a '98 M3 4 door. I have not used Michelins or Bridgestones, but
installed Goodyear F1 G3-D3. Check www.tirerack.com for comments. These
have been well received and tested well. I am completely satisfied in every
way, so far, with 10,000 miles on them. Wet weather grip is amazing.
