Power Window Problem

Hello,
I have a 1996 318TI. The drivers side window has recently been slow going
down. Jerky and rough. It seemed like it was sticking or lack of lubrication
maybe? I took it to the dealership, and of course it would not do it. :-(
Today it seems to come to a head. The window is now at an odd angle. The
front of it is significantly lower than the rear. The dealership service
dept is closed because of the Easter holiday. I've fixed similar issues with
my old Mazda and Explorers.

Is this a common issue? Is there a simple fix? Is there a diagram of the
inside of the door? Motor assembly etc?

I know this is not the most organized post, but it's going to be raining
here soon. I need to make room in the garage for my baby.

I hope, nay I pray that someone out there can help.

Regards,
David "Doc" Higgenbotham

Put silicone spray in the runners.
