E39 alarm wiring diagrams

Hi

I want to hook up an aftermarket car alarm to my 1996 E39. Does anyone know
where I can get/buy wiring diagrams for my car? I need to get at the
central locking and ignition systems.

I don't think this guy really needs a subscription to bmwtechinfo if all he
wants to do is add an alarm system to a car that is already prewired for
one, do you?

Check at www.bavauto.com I'm sure they will have an a ftermarket alarm
system that suits your needs and they will provide directions on where to
hook it up to. If you don't like Bavarian Autosports, just search on
"stallar" brand alarms. This is what they sell and they make alarms,
customized for BMWs.

Not sure about whatever national version Turn has, as it's not a US car, but
certainly no US E39 came prewired for any sort of alarm.

They had integraged alarm systems, and without the wiring diagrams, you have
no hope of hacking in an aftermarket set up.
