I also looked all over and found the best place was a BMW dealer. They are
not much more than aftermarket sets, and the fit and color match are
perfect.
Don't waste time or money on other stuff. This is one time that the dealer
is best all 'round.

I suppose you're right if you insist on the roundel. OTOH, Bavarian
Autosport has some pretty good-looking ones with model numbers on
them. Depends on what you prefer to wipe your feet on ...

The OEMs don't have a roundel that I have seen, just b;lock letters BMW.
The one thing I do like better on the OEMs is the heavy padded heel area.
Even the BAS mats (which are good) don't seem to be as good in that area.
They are also almost the same price.

The OEM E39 mats I've seen (several pair, including two of my own) don't
have a BMW logo. My brother's E46 does. BAV autosport are very nice, I
think the berbers (if they match) would be particularly classy in the 5er.
