I have a 86 325e and the turn signals don't work.  I have replaced all of the fuses and bulbs in the car.  I also replaced the flasher fuse.  Is there anything else to check before I pay the price for the turn signal switch?  Thanks for your help.

The hazard flasher switch.  It happened to me once: I lost the turn
signals, but the hazard flasher worked.  I pulled the hazard switch and
stuck a jumper wire in its socket until I could get home to repair the
switch.

Don't blow any more money on the problem until you've gotten an accurate
diagnosis.  If you've got a basic set of electronics skills, you can
test the hazard switch and stalk switch yourself.  In fact, you may be
able to correct the problem with zero new parts.
