Hi: Any suggestions on getting a pre-purchase inspection (critical issuse and or reliable service shop) on my soon to be 1997 328ic. It's coming from St Louis withh 87K on it. I live in DC and I my friend thinks he'll have time to drive it here in the next two weeks. I have already paid 90%, so this prepurchase inspection is to ensure that it is basically has no major problems, or soon to be replacements (ie muffler, tranny, tires, roof, etc..). Thanks Matt 703-200-7469 in VA CHeck for cracks in the upper hose connection to the radiator. Mine went about that mileage. Also check for ball joint wear.
