You're more likely to find stuff on ebay.co.uk and adverts in the back
of BMWCar magazine, Total BMW etc.

The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu (New Forest) has modernised a
lot in recent years and is probably worth a trip from London. The
Heritage Centre in Gaydon (Warwickshire) is nice if you like old
motors.

No such thing - there are various meets, of course, but Bimmerfest is
an entirely North American brand. BMW Car Club GB
(www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk) will be able to tell you about various meets
and shows going on.

BMW's Hams Hall engine production facility, also in Warwickshire,
might be an interesting diversion. It's BMW's latest plant, and their
third engine production facility behind Munich (petrol 6, V8 and V12,
diesel V8 and M 6/V10) and Steyr (diesel 4 and 6). Hams Hall builds
all petrol Valvetronic 4s - around 400,000 a year.

Apparently, the Coventry Transport Museum now has the largest collection of
cars in the UK.
Website is atrocious though....

I've been there, it's ok. They even had a Hillman Avenger (when I first
married my wife 26 years ago she had a Plymouth Cricket!) The collection
is mostly focused on older cars. Building/presentation rather old/crowded.

No. They would have to spend quite some time and effort just to get it to
atrocious. Probably the worst website I've ever seen.
