5 Series Touring in US?

Does anyone have an idea of when BMW will import the 5 series Touring
( AKA station wagon) to the US?

I heard Spring 2005.  Just a 530iT for the US.  Pehaps the reason for the delay
is that BMW wants to introduce the car with the upgraded 3.0 with Valvetronic,
which should be appearing in the 630Ci for the rest of the world (not USA).
