Hi guys

I have a 525 tds (1994, auto) and it now displays a (!) symbol in the gear
selector display.

I have had it on a snap on scanner, which shows error 15 - ecu power
control.  Any idea what this is?

A seperate issue is that it no longer goes into sport mode, or winter
driving - resolution for this will also be appreciated!

In my case the problem was (believe it or not) a bad starter motor, check
that first.

Most of the times, in diesel cars, the problem is that the starter overheats
and
doesn't work...
