immobilised?

please help.
my 96 3series will not ignite.
it was bumped into by the car infront while parking.
i suspect its the immobiliser playing up.

how can i reset it??

No idea about the 3 series but most post 90s cars have a fuel cut off to
reduce the likelihood of fire in the event of an accident.  On my 1993
Escort it was in the drivers footwell and could be set off by a kick !
Check your manual it might just be that this has triggered and you are
getting no fuel.

You need to reset the fuel pump. Check your manual or call a dealer. I don't
know where you would do this on your 96'.
