My new '05 M3 is awesome. I'm still having difficulty shifting, perhaps due to the new clutch. Reading trough the manuals, I discovered that the factory (non-Harmon/Kardon) CD player plays MP3s and WMAs. I haven't been able to find any documentation, but do any of you know how it handles the file names? The manual does mention how it reads each directory, but I'd like to name the MP3s appropiately so that it plays them in a particular sequence. M3U playlists don't seem to have any affect. Thanks... this is the problem with most mp3 players.. they play the songs in the order which they were written to the cd. I have burned numerous mp3 discs in the order in which i want to hear them, and have had no success. i have given up on trying to songs in the order that they were on the original CD. I found it, thanks for the help. It's much more cost effective to burn a $0.50 CD-R than to buy an iPod and the cable, and connect it to the radio. Did I mention this M3 rocks? First oil change coming up...watch out 150 mph! |
