My son reported that his 318s CE light went on and the only code he gets
from the Peake scan tool is "00".  It's not in the book.  Any ideas?

Assuming you're using the right procedure, I'd suggest the Peake tool is

AFAIK there isn't a '00' fault code.

Thinking about it. Could be the OBD socket is at fault, and is just not
giving
a reading.

Kyle.

It's a '96.  I just used an OBDII reader and it comes up P1174 "Fuel
Trim Adaptation Malfunction"; whatever that is.  Sounds like a topic for
another thread.
