I have a 2001 bmw 330i. I'd like to replace the exsisting 17" tires and
rims with the 18" tires and rims from an M3. Will they fit?

Yep. I have them on my convertable and am experiencing no fitmewnt problems.
225/40/18 on the front and 245/35/18 on the rear. Tires are Bridgestone RE
040. They are expensive buggers!  ;-)
