Hello,

My car's computer is indicating that I need to change my front turning
signal(right). As well sometimes it tells me that my front left headlight
is not working....then it does work and sometimes it doesn't.....I think
this might be just a warning that my lights need to be replaced.....I am
not sure if I should replace this myself....I would like to and save money
instead of going to a auto shop.....but I was wondering how to even get at
the front light bulbs....could someone please advise.....thanks...cheers

Owner's Manual - pages 139~144.

The filiment on the headlight can be broken and making intermittant
connections. When the light is ON, the connections are made, when the
connection is not made, the light is off and the display is on. This kind of
failure is rare, but it does happen. When the light is out, try tapping on
it gently to see if it will flash on.

The turn signal is similar.

It is an easy repair to make, and the light sockets are easily accessed when
the hood is raised. The headlamp will unscrew about 1/3rd turn and has an
electrical connection that unplugs.

I recommend that you replace both the left and right side headlamps if they
have been in the car for a long time.

The new lamps are a quartz halogen specification, and you MUST NOT TOUCH THE
GLASS. The oil from your fingers will cause the glass to break in very short
order. If you manage to get finger prints on the glass of the bulb, you must
clean the bulb with alcohol.

Your car has separate low and high beams. The Part Number for the low beams
is 9006. When you pull the old lamp put, the number is stamped on it. I am
running the new SilverStar bulbs, they are a bit pricey but the light is
very nice to sit behind.
