E86 roadster?

Does anyone know what the E86 will be? I can only find one reference to it
on Google in english. Looks like a two-seat roadster. Z series?

There was an article in Roundel about an E86 roadster as part of the 1
series.  But that was 3 years ago & it hasn't materialized yet.
