I'm thinking of buying a 525i, and the seller say it's a 1993 (only 90k
miles...).
But it has s a non-Vanos(?) engine.
I thought that every 525i starting with 1993 have Vanos...
Could this really be a 1992?

VANOS didn't come in until the middle of 93 I think.
