BMW 520 numberplates in NSW

A friend of mine owns these - BMW-520 - in NSW. Does anyone know what their
true value is? They must be sold with a registered car.

A lot less than one which reads "BMW 545" ! Sorry - couldn't help myself.

In SA you can buy any number plate number you want at a set price through
the Department of Transport (don't recall how much though) but clearly the
rules are different in NSW.

they are yellow and black type? maybe $2000?

520-BMW sold a few months ago in NSW but unsure what price.
Maybe someone with a 525 would want them
