Hi,

I have a 2002 325i CPO purchased in the last 5 months.  So far it's
been a great car with 48,500 miles.  The only issue I have is the air
bag warning light.  This is the second time it has come on whenever the
seat is adjusted and reclined forward while the seat belt is buckled.
I noticed this because my exgirlfriend and my other friend had to
adjust the seat when they used the car.

The 1st time it came on, I took it to the dealer and they replaced the
belt tensioner and reset the light.  Since this is the second time, it
is becoming a hassle.  Are there any known issues with this?  Also, if
it comes on again,  is there a simple way to reset this myself?? I'm
planning to visit the dealer again soon.

Thanks, Bill
P.S.  Since the car is under CPO warranty, can I have another BMW indy
specialist to do my inspection II?

If you want instant response, you have to pay.  None of us (other than
Brett who occasionally monitors the group) is paid.  The airbag is
a system that basically is dealer-only.  Go to the dealer.
