i have a 94 318 td and the problem iis that the car seems to have a good charge in the battery but when the key is turned in the ignition it doesnt turn over. The dash lights are working and the ignition switch appears to be working, i've tried resetting the alarm but still nothing, ive had the battery disconnected for a day and then reconnected it but still nothing. any ideas would be much appreciated. thanks -- sparkers > i have a 94 318 td and the problem iis that the car seems to have a good charge in the battery but when the key is turned in the ignition it doesnt turn over. Are you sure the battery is OK? E36s give very little warning of a dead one.
